David Hymovitch Makes NCAA College Commitment

The Quinnipiac Bobcats college hockey team will soon welcome 16U Jr. Coyote forward David Hymovitch to their program. Hymovitch made his verbal commitment to Quinnipiac this past week and will tentatively plan on arriving in Hamden, Connecticut for the 2022-2023 season.

Since 2012, David has spent the majority of his youth hockey career skating at the Ice Den, while being part of the CAHA Elite program. The 2003- born forward played last year on the strong 15O Coyotes team that won the Rocky Mountain District title and made an impressive run at USA Hockey Nationals in Plymouth, Michigan. David will be the 2nd Coyote in the last few years to suit up for the Bobcats, after former 18U goalie Andrew Shortridge graduated up to professional hockey this past season. Hymovitch was also a selection this past August to Team USA’s elite Five Nations Team, that competed in Fussen, Germany.

The Coyotes high-flying forward has continued to develop his game each season with hard work, dedication and patience. Hymovitch will be relied upon again this winter to drive the offense for the 16U Tier I team and prepare himself for junior hockey soon in Sioux City, Iowa of the USHL. (2019 draft pick of SC Musketeers)

The entire Jr. Coyotes organization congratulate David and his family for this tremendous honor.
