The Jr. Coyotes would like to announce that former 17 year old star player, Matthew Knies, has been named to the USHL’s all rookie team. Knies played last season with Tri-City and was 2nd in scoring for the Storm team with 45 points in 44 games.

Matthew was part of the strong Jr. Coyotes 2002 team while growing up and had just left home this past September for junior hockey. Knies is eligible for the NHL 2021 Draft next season and is projected to be a very strong candidate for selection. The Jr. Coyotes congratulate Matthew for his excellent rookie year and will be following his continued progress in the future!
