CAHA Scottsdale - Jr. Coyotes are pleased to announce that Aaron Konecsni will be joining our team for the 2022-23 youth hockey season as the Jr. Coyotes Skating Development Coach.

Aaron has been a full-time professional Hockey Skating and Skills coach for over 20 years, most recently operating AKHOCKEY based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.  During his career he has worked for the Vancouver Canucks, Hockey Canada Skills Academy, Kelowna Rockets (WHL) and many other Semi-Pro, Junior and Minor hockey teams around the world.  

Notable NHL players who have trained with AKHockey include Shea Weber, Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith and Dany Heatley. Of late, he’s worked with Team Canada’s World Junior phenom Connar Bedard and Team Canada’s Logan Stankoven.

Aaron shares our excitement stating, “I personally look forward to sharing my methodology, curriculum, and skating development tools with the Jr. Coyotes. I am very passionate and results driven, and I am committed to making the Jr. Coyotes smarter and faster players for years to come!“ 

We anticipate this season will be full of skating and development for all our program participants and we are eager to watch the results as our players develop.
