Director Tier Program & Player Personnel

The Coyotes Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) – Jr. Coyotes is proud to announce Jordan Muzzillo’s addition to our leadership team!

As we continue to prepare for the 2025-2026 youth hockey season, Jordan will be transitioning from his current role at Ice Den Performance (IDP), with continued involvement with the IDP Off-Season programming, while assuming his new responsibilities.

Jordan enters this role with an impressive background in both playing and coaching, bringing invaluable experience and leadership to our organization. As a NCAA Division I student-athlete and team captain at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), Jordan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Sports Management and continued his education to pursue an MBA. His playing career extended beyond college, with professional experience in both the United States and Europe.

Originally from Capron, Illinois, Jordan developed his game playing youth hockey with the Team Illinois AAA Hockey Club in the Chicagoland area. He was later drafted to the Springfield Jr. Blues in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), where he played two successful seasons before earning his scholarship to UAF.

After retiring from professional hockey, Jordan transitioned into coaching and player development. He moved to Phoenix in 2021 and quickly became an integral part of the local hockey community. Most recently, he served as Director of Player Development at the Ice Den Performance Center in Scottsdale, where he led high-level training for current and former CAHA athletes now playing at junior, collegiate, and professional levels. For the past two seasons, he has been a member of the Jr. Coyotes Coaching Staff and will lead our 18U Tier I team this coming season.

Jordan is CPR certified and is also a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC), reflecting his commitment to athlete health, safety, and peak performance.

As Director of Tier Program & Player Personnel Jordan will oversee all facets of the Jr. Coyotes Tier-level program — including player development, recruitment, alumni engagement, and community outreach. He will play a critical role in shaping the future of our program, strengthening connections with players, families, and hockey partners across the country, and driving national recognition for the Jr. Coyotes.

Jordan’s passion for hockey, strong leadership, and deep understanding of player development make him an outstanding addition to our team. We are excited for the energy and vision he brings, and look forward to the continued growth and success of our program.

Please join us in congratulating Jordan on his new role!
